We — all mods, friends, fans, and representatives of Fxtch (Dylan Davies) and the entire universe — are expected to demonstrate appropriate etiquette on social media. Administrators (admins) and moderators (mods) are welcome to delete posts at their discretion if they believe content does not meet our standards.

Our general housekeeping rules include but are not limited to...

Be mature. Be kind. Be friendly. Be happy.

Be mature — ****Use your best judgement before you decide to post something.

Be kind — ****We are trying to cultivate a community of people who are passionate, and with that comes strong feelings. There will inevitably be some disagreements in our forums, but you can disagree respectfully and try to have a meaningful conversation, if you choose to do so.

Be friendly — You don’t have to be best friends with everyone in the community, but if you see something you like, don’t be shy! Offer encouragement and support wherever you see fit. Don’t leave people out if they wish to be included.

Be happy — We understand that no one is 100% happy 100% of the time. However, this community is intended to be a positive escape. The intention of this guideline is to steer us away from self-destructive conversations that we are not equipped to handle (e.g; “I’m having a terrible day”, “I hate my life”, or worse). This is not a place to rant or vent. Instead, feel free to post looking for something to cheer you up (e.g; “currently super stressed, anyone have any dog pics to get my mind off things?”).

No NSFW/NSFL content.

NSFWFxtch is sex-averse, and would like to keep sexual content off the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, nudity, sexual innuendoes, sexual references, and conversations about sexual experiences.

NSFL — Due to the nature of the entire universe being a safe, positive online experience, refrain from posting disturbing content. There may be instances where NSFL content is important to provide context to world news (e.g; war). In these cases, disturbing posts must:

again, we remind you that moderators are welcome to delete posts at their discretion if they believe content does not meet this criteria.

Don’t spam. Don’t bully. Don’t be edgy.

Don’t spam — This includes posting multiple messages irrelevant to the conversation, regardless of intention. Spam also includes posting too much (self-)promotion and not contributing to other community conversations.

Don’t bully — Do not tease or put others down. If you would like to provide criticism, ensure that it is constructive feedback, instead. This guideline also encompasses extreme forms of bullying, such as that motivated by race, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
